Band 5 Chemotherapy Nurse – South Warwickshire Hospital

Location: South Warwickshire Hospital, Coventry area
Pay Rate: £20 – £30 per hour
Shifts: Long Days Weekdays & Weekends Available

Cromwell Medical Staffing is currently seeking skilled and compassionate Band 5 Chemotherapy Nurses to join the oncology team at South Warwickshire Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver specialist care in a well-regarded NHS setting, with consistent long-day shifts and highly competitive pay.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer systemic anti-cancer therapy SACT in line with national and trust protocols
• Monitor patient responses, manage side effects, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families throughout treatment
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Work collaboratively with oncologists, pharmacists, and the wider healthcare team

Requirements:

• Current NMC registration as a Band 5 Registered Nurse
• Chemotherapy administration certification (SACT passport or equivalent)
• Minimum 6 months’ recent experience in a chemotherapy or oncology setting
• Excellent communication, organisational, and clinical assessment skills
• Right to work in the UK
