Job Type: Temporary (Direct Engagement – Staff Direct)

Duration: 12 Weeks

Hours: Full Time (Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm)

Pay Rate: £19 - PAYE only

Job Overview

Cromwell Medical Staffing is currently recruiting an experienced Band 5 Recovery Worker to support substance misuse services at HMP Brinsford.

This is an urgent requirement for a 12-week placement, offering a great opportunity to work within a structured prison setting supporting individuals with alcohol and substance dependency.

Requirements

Valid Prison Clearance (Essential)

Experience working in drug and alcohol services

Experience within a structured treatment system (desirable)

Experience with OST (Opiate Substitution Therapy)

Strong understanding of harm reduction principles

Ability to manage a caseload independently

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Available to start ASAP and fully compliant
