Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 16:30
• or
• 4 days per week: 08:30 – 18:30

Hourly Rate: Up to £28

About the Role:

We are currently looking to appoint a Band 6 Registered Nurse with chemotherapy (SACT) competency to support oncology services in Reading. This role focuses on delivering safe and effective systemic anti-cancer treatments while ensuring patients receive high standards of clinical care and support throughout their treatment pathway.

Key Accountabilities:

• Safely deliver chemotherapy and IV therapies in line with established oncology protocols
• Observe patients throughout treatment cycles, identifying and managing any adverse effects or complications
• Provide clear, practical information to patients and carers regarding treatment plans, side effects, and aftercare
• Maintain comprehensive and compliant clinical documentation at all stages of care
• Work in partnership with oncologists, pharmacy teams, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated service delivery.

Essential Criteria:

• Active NMC registration as a Registered Nurse
• Recognised SACT training with recent hands-on administration experience
• Proven ability to manage patients with complex clinical needs
• Experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary oncology teams
• Full right to work in the UK
• Mandatory training fully up to date.
