Band 6 Theatre Practitioner

About the Role:

We are looking for skilled Band 6 Theatre Practitioners with experience in Orthopaedics, Scrub, or Anaesthetics to join theatre teams at St Richard’s Hospital, Chichester. This role offers flexible agency shifts within a fast-paced NHS acute environment, where you will play a key role in delivering safe and effective perioperative care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high standards of patient care within the operating theatre across relevant specialities
• Support surgical teams during procedures, maintaining strict sterile technique and safety compliance
• Assist patients across all stages of the perioperative journey, including pre-operative preparation and post-operative recovery
• Collaborate effectively with consultants, anaesthetists, and wider multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure all clinical records are completed accurately and in accordance with NHS policies

Essential Requirements:

• Current NMC or HCPC registration (as applicable)
• At least 6 months of recent NHS theatre experience within the past 2 years
• Demonstrable experience in Orthopaedics, Scrub, or Anaesthetic settings
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Willingness to declare any DBS history
• Up-to-date mandatory training compliance
