Band 6 Chemotherapy Nurse

About the Role:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Chemotherapy Nurse to support oncology services at South Warwick Hospital in Coventry. This position focuses on delivering safe and effective Systemic Anti-Cancer Treatment (SACT) within a professional NHS setting, offering flexible agency opportunities for skilled nurses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy and IV treatments in line with established oncology protocols and safety standards
• Monitor patients closely during treatment cycles, identifying and responding to adverse reactions promptly
• Provide clear guidance and reassurance to patients and their families regarding treatment and aftercare
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation throughout the care process
• Work collaboratively with oncologists, pharmacists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care

Essential Requirements:

• Active NMC registration as a Registered Nurse
• Recognised SACT/chemotherapy competency with recent practical experience
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex oncology patients
• Experience working within multidisciplinary clinical teams
• Full right to work in the UK
• Up-to-date mandatory training and compliance
