Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse – Endoscopy to join our team. You will play a key role in delivering safe, high‑quality care before, during, and after endoscopic procedures. This role provides an excellent opportunity to use and develop your specialist clinical skills in a supportive and patient‑focused environment.

Duties

• Prepare patients for endoscopic procedures and address any questions or concerns.
• Assist with setup, operation, and safe handling of endoscopy equipment.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any clinical changes.
• Provide post‑procedure care and clear recovery and follow‑up advice.
• Maintain accurate patient records in line with regulatory standards.
• Work closely with physicians, technicians, and wider clinical teams.
• Ensure strict infection‑control practices and maintain a clean, safe environment.

Skills

• Clinical experience in patient care, ideally in endoscopy or gastroenterology.
• Strong understanding of anatomy relevant to endoscopic procedures.
• Excellent communication and reassurance skills for patient interaction.
• Ability to work well under pressure with strong attention to detail.
• Highly organised, able to prioritise tasks in a fast‑paced setting.
• Compassionate, professional, and committed to delivering exceptional patient‑centred care.
