Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) – Agency Opportunities

Are you a compassionate and skilled Mental Health Nurse seeking agency work in Surrey? Cromwell Medical is currently recruiting Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs) to support NHS mental health services across the Surrey area. This role offers flexible working and the opportunity to contribute positively to patient recovery and wellbeing.

Previous experience working as an RMN within NHS mental health settings is required.

Role Responsibilities – Mental Health Care

• Provide safe, effective, and person‑centred mental health nursing care
• Carry out comprehensive mental health and risk assessments
• Plan, deliver, and review individual care and treatment plans
• Support service users through periods of mental health crisis
• Administer prescribed medication and monitor therapeutic responses
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical record‑keeping
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated care
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, dignity, and patient safety

Essential Requirements

• Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with current NMC registration
• Minimum 6 months post‑registration experience in mental health services
• Experience in inpatient, acute, or community mental health environments
• Up‑to‑date mandatory training (PMVA/MAPA, BLS, Manual Handling, Infection Control)
• Legal right to work in the UK
