Salary: £21 for LD, 27 - Nights/sat, 34 - Sunday/Bank Holiday (Umbrella)

Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Band 5 Radiographer to join a dynamic imaging department. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and care at all times.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of general radiographic examinations (X-ray) in line with departmental protocols
• Ensure accurate patient identification and maintain high standards of patient care
• Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain compliance with radiation protection guidelines and health & safety regulations
• Work collaboratively with radiologists, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities

Requirements:

• BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
• HCPC registration as a Radiographer
• Previous experience in a clinical radiography setting (NHS experience preferred)
• Strong understanding of radiation safety and imaging protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in CT or MRI.
• Flexibility to work across shifts, including weekends if required.
