Cromwell Medical is currently recruiting experienced Accident & Emergency Nurses for an agency placement in Liverpool, offering reliable, ongoing shifts within a busy A&E setting. About the Role

In this position, you will play a vital role in supporting patients with acute and emergency presentations. You’ll be working within a fast-moving emergency department, where confidence, clinical judgement, and teamwork are essential. Previous A&E experience is a must.

Key Duties

• Provide responsive, patient-focused care in an emergency care setting
• Perform initial assessments and triage patients according to clinical priority
• Assist with urgent interventions and patient stabilisation
• Administer prescribed medications, IV therapy, and wound management
• Support resuscitation procedures when required
• Ensure accurate clinical documentation and reporting
• Work collaboratively with emergency clinicians, paramedics, and wider MDTs

Candidate Requirements

• Registered Adult Nurse with active NMC registration
• Minimum 6 months’ experience in an acute or emergency hospital environment
• Current mandatory compliance (BLS, Infection Control, Manual Handling, etc.)
• Eligibility to work in the UK
