Cromwell Medical is currently recruiting experienced Accident & Emergency Nurses for an ongoing agency role in Southend-on-Sea, offering dependable and regular shifts within a busy A&E department. This role provides both consistency and the chance to make a real impact where it matters most.

🏥 Role Overview

You will be a key member of the A&E team, delivering timely and effective care to patients presenting with urgent and critical conditions. The emergency department environment requires strong clinical judgement, adaptability, and effective teamwork. Previous experience in A&E is essential.

🩺 Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centred care in an emergency setting
• Undertake rapid assessments and triage patients based on clinical urgency
• Support immediate interventions and assist with patient stabilisation
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and perform wound care
• Participate in emergency and resuscitation procedures when required
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation
• Work collaboratively with doctors, paramedics, and the wider MDT

✅ Candidate Requirements

• Registered Adult Nurse with a valid NMC registration
• Minimum of 6 months’ experience in an acute or emergency hospital environment
• Mandatory training up to date (BLS, Manual Handling, Infection Control, etc.)
• Legal right to work in the UK
