Are you an experienced Band 6 Midwife looking for flexible agency work within NHS Trusts? Cromwell Medical is currently seeking skilled and compassionate Band 6 Midwives to support maternity services in Bristol. 🩺 Role Overview

As a Band 6 Midwife, you will take a proactive role in delivering and coordinating maternity care across antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal settings. You will work autonomously while supporting junior staff and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality antenatal, labour, and postnatal care in line with NHS standards
• Assess, plan, and coordinate care for women and babies throughout the maternity pathway
• Provide clinical leadership and support to junior midwives and students
• Monitor maternal and neonatal wellbeing and respond to complications effectively
• Administer medications safely and follow clinical guidelines
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with NMC and NHS requirements
• Work collaboratively with obstetricians, neonatologists, and wider MDTs

✅ Essential Requirements

• Registered Midwife (Band 6) with a valid NMC PIN
• Minimum 6 months recent NHS Trust experience as a Midwife
• Up‑to‑date mandatory training (including BLS, Manual Handling, Infection Control)
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
• Right to work in the UK
• Strong leadership, communication, and clinical decision‑making skills
