Band 7 Nurse Independent Prescriber (NMP) – Agency Role

Location: HMP Stoke Heath, Shropshire

Contract Length: Approximately 12 weeks

Start Date: As soon as possible

Pay Rate: £26 per hour

Hours: 22.5 hours per week (Part‑Time)

Shift Time: 07:30 – 15:30

Role Overview

We are currently recruiting a Band 7 Nurse Independent Prescriber (NMP) to support healthcare services at HMP Stoke Heath in Shropshire. This is a part‑time agency opportunity for an experienced practitioner with prison healthcare background.

Key Requirements

• Qualified Nurse Independent Prescriber (NMP)
• Band 7 experience
• Active prison clearance is essential
• Previous experience working within a secure/prison healthcare environment
• Strong clinical assessment and decision‑making skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
