🩺 Role Overview

Cromwell Medical Staffing is currently recruiting an experienced Band 6 NICU Registered Nurse to support one of our NHS clients in the Somerset area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a busy Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, providing specialist care to premature and critically ill newborns.

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality nursing care to neonates requiring intensive support
• Monitor vital signs and respond swiftly to changes in condition
• Administer medications and follow neonatal care plans in line with clinical guidelines
• Collaborate with neonatologists, paediatricians, and the wider MDT
• Support and educate parents and families with compassion and care
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Adhere to safeguarding and infection‑control policies

🎓 Requirements

• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in NICU
• Experience within Level 2 or Level 3 Neonatal Units
• QIS trained
• Confident in neonatal resuscitation and emergency response
• Right to work in the UK
• Up‑to‑date mandatory training (BLS, NLS)
