Locum Band 8 Pharmacist

About the Role:

Cromwell Medical Staffing is currently seeking a highly skilled Band 8 Pharmacist to join a leading NHS hospital in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced pharmacist to step into a senior clinical role and support the delivery of exceptional patient care within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced clinical pharmacy services to inpatient wards and specialist units
• Ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based use of medicines
• Supervise and support junior pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
• Contribute to clinical audits, governance initiatives, and service improvements
• Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient medication regimens

Requirements:

• GPhC registration as a Pharmacist
• Minimum Band 8 level experience within an NHS hospital
• Strong clinical knowledge and familiarity with NHS prescribing protocols
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team-working skills
