Band 5 Pharmacy Technician

Cromwell Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled and experienced Band 5 Pharmacy Technician for a locum position based in Essex. This is an exciting opportunity to join a respected NHS trust and contribute to high-quality patient care.

Role Summary:
As a Band 5 Pharmacy Technician, you will be working in a patient-facing role at ward level, performing medication reconciliation and providing patient counselling. You will also support both inpatient and outpatient dispensaries, carrying out final accuracy checks and dispensing duties. This position requires a confident and adaptable technician with strong clinical and communication skills.

Key Requirements:

• GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technician
• Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) qualification is essential
• Previous NHS hospital experience
• Confident working on wards and engaging with patients
• Skilled in dispensing and accuracy checking in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Right to work in the UK – no visa sponsorship available
