Medical Lab Assistant

Cromwell Medical Staffing is currently recruiting for a Band 3 Medical Laboratory Assistant with experience in Histology to join a well-regarded NHS client in Guildford. This is a fantastic locum opportunity for someone looking to contribute to a busy and dynamic pathology team.

Role Overview:
As a Medical Laboratory Assistant, you will support the Histology department by performing essential lab support duties. This includes data entry, sample handling, preparation, and assisting in maintaining an efficient laboratory workflow. Accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to follow protocols are key in this role.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a Histology laboratory is essential
• Must be eligible to work in the UK – no visa sponsorship available
• Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
• Able to work as part of a team in a busy lab environment
•  6 months NHS experience
