We are currently recruiting an experienced Band 6 Biomedical Scientist with a strong background in Biochemistry to join a well-established NHS trust in Sussex. 

Role Summary:

In this role, you will be a key member of the Biochemistry team, providing high-quality diagnostic testing and supporting efficient laboratory operations.

 Requirements:

• HCPC registration is essential
• Minimum of 6 months NHS experience
• Must be fully flexible and available to cover the full 24/7 shift pattern, including nights and weekends
• Strong experience in Biochemistry
• Proficient in the use, setup, and maintenance of Abbott Alinity systems
• Familiarity with AlinIQ AMS and WinPath middleware is essential
• Able to work independently and as part of a team in a busy NHS laboratory setting
